Description
In this activity, students will practice subtracting decimals (up to the thousandths) from whole numbers ( 1 - 99) as they color! Students will use their answers to color a mandala to reveal a beautiful, colorful pattern that makes excellent classroom decor!
This no-prep activity is an excellent resource for sub plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, and extra practice with some fun. It is especially useful for end-of-year practice, spiral review, and motivated practice when students are exhausted from standardized testing or mentally "checked out" before a long break (hello summer!). Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so give them the opportunity to enjoy practicing their skills with this fun color-by-number activity!
