Description
Once my students reached middle school, I noticed a shift. Printed and bound Haggadahs suddenly felt 'babyish" to them, but we still needed to go through the Haggadah. I created this resource to help middle school students connect to the Seder while using their own Haggadahs with these bookmarks.
Instead of just listening and filling in blanks, students explore key Pesach ideas through interactive activities like songs, art, a simple science experiment, and group games. (See the teacher's guide for all the activity ideas. There is GOLD in there!) Students place bookmarks into the correct spots in their Haggadah using paper clips. I also like to take pictures of the activities, print them, and add them into the Haggadah too. This brings a taste of the classroom home.
What's Included:
• Simanei Haseder bookmarks + answer keys
• Divrei Torah bookmarks + answer keys
• Teacher's guide with activities to make the themes meaningful
• Extra games and resources for review
Everything is organized in a zipped folder. Just download, extract, and start.
Questions or feedback? I would love to hear from you.
