Description
The Great Gatsby has had numerous film adaptations over the years, but the latest one in 2013 is without a doubt the most colorful and vibrant of them all. Telling the Story of Jay Gatsby, an enigmatic and immeasurable wealthy man whose style and personality have left many in New York to questions here this man came from.
However the story is told from the perspective of Nick Carraway, who is not only a fresh arrival to the Big Apple, but also to what life in the fast lane of America really is during the roaring 20's.
This Movie Guide primarily focuses on the film, while also leaving room for a teacher to add questions at the end of the packet if they want to add something specific. Questions focus on sections of the film/book and what they mean to the larger plot, as well as keep students focused on what is going on within the moments of the film - placing them in the shoes at times of the characters to guess what they are going through and thinking. Time stamps for following the film and the corresponding questions are included.
