This pack includes a choice board, leveled student notes, differentiated note-catchers, a glossary, a review game, a self-assessment tool, and a list of student-friendly websites about thermal energy.
✦ The Choice Board is organized into six subtopics of thermal energy, covering heat, temperature, expansion and contraction, conduction, conductors & insulators, convection & convection currents, and radiation.
Each subtopic includes a range of questions with expressive categories such as define, list, draw, and explain, providing multiple entry points for learning and review.
Assign specific questions on the grid, or let your students choose from a variety of questions on each subtopic.
Aligned Response Catchers are included to help students organize their thoughts and responses to the Choice Board questions.
✦ Our Dicebreakers Review Game adds an element of excitement to the learning and review process, encouraging social interaction and collaboration as students answer questions on a remixed version of the question grid.
