If you're looking for a fun Valentine's Day Craft to add into your math lesson, this is for you! Your students will use small numbers and show them in 5 different ways. Its perfect for a review!
There are 5 different heart solving options along with addition and subtraction number sentences sentences to write and then solve.
The 5 options are:
10 frame
Number line
Number bond
Draw a picture
Solve it 4 ways
How to make the craft:
Print both sides of the heart onto cardstock.
Cut out around the heart and glue the 2 pieces together to form the heart.
Print the chocolate pieces with the empty addition and subtraction sentences onto brown or white paper.
On the chocolate pieces, students will create their own number sentence.
Glue the chocolate piece onto the heart to make a flap.
Under the chocolate flap, students will solve their number sentence using one of the 5 ways.
