Description
As teacher, we have to continuously multi task and teach various skills at once. I teach students with autism intermediate level (3rd-5th). I observed that they had difficulty understand vocabulary, therefore I created this page to assist they learning.
In this worksheet, they see the work, visualize the word, define it and then use it in a sentence.
Then, I pushed my students to have dictionary skills by creating a binder with a-z tabs. It was their own personal dictionary for all the words they were learning throughout the year. Every week they would add the new vocabulary words. During the year, they would go back a look for a word they were having trouble. At the end of the year, they got to take it home.
