Description
Engage students in writing by having them research various types of animal adaptations and having them select which adaptations they would want and why. Students will then complete a book accompanied by a craft with their face on it and all of the animal adaptations they selected.
This resource pairs well with the books "What If You Had Animal..." by Sandra Markle, however, can be completed without these books as well. This unit was designed for second or third graders, but the lower differentiated pages can be used for first grade writers as well.
You will receive six writing units, plus a cumulative project in this bundle. Each individual project includes the following pages, totaling 270 pages:
- 2 Pages of Photo Examples
- 1 Week Teaching Guide

- 2 Brainstorm Pages (1 for Opinion, 1 for Informative)
