Description

These World Language Speaking Rubrics are the perfect tool to help you assess your students' interpersonal and/or presentational speaking proficiency in French, Spanish, Italian, German, or whichever other World Language you teach! These rubrics accurately and fairly evaluate students' use of vocabulary, grammar accuracy, task completion, delivery, and language clarity and comprehensibility. This resource includes SIX different rubrics with TWO different scoring methods and/or point systems, for a total of TWELVE Speaking Rubrics. You can use these rubrics for simple, formative speaking tasks (e.g. paired or small group speaking activities like Info-Gaps and Question/Answer Interviews as well as whole-class speaking activities like Surveys and Find Someone Who…). These rubrics are also effective for more significant summative and performance-based assessments (e.g. oral presentations, paired speaking tasks, teacher-student oral proficiency interviews, etc.).

These rubrics come in a PDF format so that you print, photocopy, and you're all set as well as in an EDITABLE Google Doc that you can edit and customize to best suit your needs.
