This writing activity is perfect to accompany a unit on Laura Numeroff's "If You Give a Mouse A Cookie" series. This activity allows students to create and write their own circle story through the writing process. There is a circle map to help students plan, draft and publish a circle story in a book. This product is differentiated to allow teachers to give students a prompt to write from - "If you give a reindeer a carrot...", or teachers can give the fill in the blank "if you give a _____ a _____" or teachers can simply have students practice creating their own story using a blank circle map template.
