This lesson is designed for use with AP® World History Modern, Unit 9 Globalization Topic 9.2 Technological Advances and Limitations After 1900: Disease. The lesson includes a CED-aligned PowerPoint and Google Slides™ lecture with detailed speaker notes, a guided notes sheet for students, video questions, and a 1918 Influenza Pandemic reading assignment. Most of the slides in the lecture are not fully editable. There are two versions of the lecture: One is not editable and the other contains some editable body text. For this reason, you will find PNG images that can be inserted as backgrounds if you want to add your own information to the lectures while keeping the same style. Simply insert the pictures and then add text boxes to fit your needs.
