This digital or printable resource acts as a cheat sheet for your students to use as they evaluate the credibility of a website and can be used for any research task. In my classroom, I print this sheet out for my students so that they can use it throughout the school year and in their other classes as well. This resource will help your students be successful with ANY RESEARCH TASK FOR ANY SUBJECT. This Credible Sources Reference Sheet provides your students with the information they need to support them in determining the credibility of any source.

★ Can I use Wikipedia as a credible source?

This Credible Sources Reference sheet guarantees that your students understand the difference between an academic journal and a TikTok post ;), how to evaluate digital sources such as determining the credibility of a YouTube video, the difference between each website domain (.com, .edu, .gov., .net, etc.) and your students will gain an understanding of when it is appropriate to use Wikipedia for research (and when it is not!). The included reference sheet provides students with the information they need to evaluate any source to determine its credibility.
