Hello. I am a former Marine turned special education teacher. I got into this field because I myself was in special education while in school. I had amazing teachers that truly cared about me. I wanted to return that wonderful experience I had to the kids of today. I find that teaching shouldn’t only be about filling our kids heads with knowledge, but also make connections with them and show them that someone cares about them. I believe education is our greatest foundation that we must build upon.
