Greetings,
My name is Adra Young. Teaching for over twenty years for the Detroit Public School District, I lost my mom to cancer and moved back to my native home. About to start off the school year of 2019 as a certified teacher in Gary Indiana, I'm eager to get the ball rolling with my forth coming seventh grade students.
Teaching in an urban setting, the challenge lies with limited access to technology. Each class is not provided a set of PC's or tablets resulting to the teachers having to make arrangements to escort students to the computer lab. Wanting my youngsters to have some expossure to technology in my actual class, I am requesting fundings to purchase several Chrome Books, Printer, and Educational Software including Google Certification.
