About
I am a Reading Specialist. I spend half of my day working with struggling readers and the other half of my day I provide instructional support to other teachers in the building. I have been with this district for 14 years. I spent 12 years at the K-2 building and for the past 2 years I have worked at the 3-5 building. I work in a school that has high mobility and some attendance issues. This year our school received the Commendable rating from the state. It is a privilege to be recognized by the state. Our goal is to continue to improve and to make provide our students with the best learning possibilities. Since I worked in the K-2 building for the majority of my career, I am limited on extra resources for my current students. I would love to continue to build my classroom library in order to provide my students with multiple opportunities to read wonderful books.
