How to Play

1. Two students or two groups of students play against each other. Player/Teams always take turns. (Correct answers do NOT continue uninterrupted.)

2. Player/Team chooses a column. The audio sample in the bottom most circle of the column is played. Player/Team states that the audio played is either a Major 2nd or Minor 2nd. (whole step or half step)

3. If the answer is correct, place that team's marker in the circle. If the answer is incorrect, place the opposing team's marker in the circle. (Answers may be checked on slide 4 by deleting the green markers.)

4. The first Player/Team with 4 in a row wins! 4 in a row may be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.

Keep in mind that Player/Team markers may only be placed in the lowest available circle of the column. Use in edit mode rather than presentation mode. Game 1 has ascending intervals only. Game 2 mixes ascending and descending intervals.
