Description

This is a behavior book with 4 different behavior expectations and social skills activities. Work on promoting positive behaviors to aid in classroom management such as asking for help, getting in line, walking in line, playing with friends, sitting on the rug, working at my desk etc.

In this packet you will find 4 different activities/booklets to help teach students the behavioral expectations for different school based situations/scenarios. This packet is designed at 3 different levels so that students of different abilities can access this learning tool.

The different levels also allows students to progress by beginning with visual/adaptive prompts to teach behavioral concepts (Level 1) and then having the student move up to more independent written responses (with fewer prompts) which also has the students begin to think about WHY those particular behavioral expectations are in place and the consequences of their actions .

Level 1= 18 page adapted behavior booklet that includes 17 different school based situations/scenarios. Each situation/scenario has 5 different behavioral actions that can be attached to each page.

Level 2= 18 page behavioral booklet that includes 17 different school based situations/scenarios. Each situation/scenario has 5 questions that represent 5 different behavioral expectations. Students answer the questions and independently label the picture of the situation/scenario.

Each situations/scenario includes a variety of questions that have student identify 1) The behavioral expectations of that situation, 2) WHY that behavioral expectation is important (why does the student need to do that action), 3) The consequences of NOT following that expectation (including how those actions would affect others/make others feel).
