This is a Google Slides resource that is COMPLETELY EDITABLE and you are free to add, delete, or edit any part of it to fit the needs of your students. It can be used for Black History Month, or ANY TIME of year to appreciate Black History. It is an analysis of the amazing poet, Amanda Gorman, who spoke at the recent inauguration. Links and interactive pieces are embedded in the presentation. I used this with 7th and 8th grade and friends have used it in high school. My students really saw the huge impact this young woman had on our nation that day.
