Description
If you are looking to encourage your students to try new genres, then you should have a BOOK TASTING event in your classroom! Students rotate around the room, tasting different books from a variety of genres. They will truly love this activity ❤️
Select books from your classroom or school library and group them by genre. Print "Genre Table Labels" to identify each group of books. Provide students with a "Book Menu" where they can rate and take notes about the books they sample. They can also make a list of Reservations (or wishlist) of books they are interested in reading later on the back of their very own Bookmark!
This resource includes:
Book Tasting Menu (ratings and book information)
Place Mats (students can leave notes for the next student that stops by!)
Genre Table Labels with definitions (two versions)
Genre bookmarks with definitions and Reservation List

Editable PPT slides so you can add your own genres
