This resource is designed with realistic hypothetical bullying scenarios which students can use to think through responses and solutions and determine how they would handle bullying situations. Students can have meaningful reflections and education on how to handle difficult social situations that are common for many teens. You can encourage students to read the scenarios and decide how they should respond, explain why they would choose that response, and think about the impact that response would have on those involved.

This product features 28 highly relevant scenarios surrounding bullying and the different ways it can manifest itself in teenage life. The scenarios cover all aspects of bullying from a variety of perspectives (with answer keys). Students will use their knowledge of bullying to analyze the situations and decide the most appropriate ways to deal with them.

How to use these bullying scenarios with students:
★ Give students scenarios to read, either in groups or individually.
★ Students look at the scenario from the individual's perspective and answer the question provided.
★ Once the students have read the scenario ask them to reflect on their own skills in managing this type of bullying
★ These scenarios provide students opportunities to learn strategies to respond to someone who is bullying them or others and role-play different situations.

The scenarios encourage students to think about and practice how to:
★ navigate difficult situations and challenges with bullies
★ practice and suggest ways to cope and overcome bullying
★ have difficult conversations with the very people they spend a great deal of time with
★ build confidence in managing their emotions
★ handle challenging situations with a sense of maturity
★ improve social skills and behavior
★ evaluate best solutions in different situations
★ solve problems
