Are you looking for fun Groundhog Day activities for your students? These Groundhog Day themed Finish the Story writing prompts are the perfect way for your students to practice their narrative or fantasy writing skills.
Students will be given a cliffhanger start to a story and they get to be creative as they write their own ending. There are no rules! Students can be as silly or serious as they want. Each prompt is Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil themed, and allows students to write themed stories to match the holiday!

2 versions per prompt that allows students space to draw a picture to match
Digital Google Slides version for students to respond on their devices. These slides include space for students to add images to go with their writing.
Digital version also includes a blank page for you to generate your own prompts.
