With this Boom Cards BUNDLE, students will read a variety of job listings and answer comprehension questions about them. Two levels are included with your purchase. There are a total of 8 different job listings included with each level. Level ONE of this unit includes lower level text with more simplistic words and vocabulary. Level TWO of this unit includes a higher level version of the same text from Unit One but with more words and higher vocabulary. Each job listings has 5 corresponding comprehension questions with it. That is a total of FORTY questions for your students to answer for each level!
Please note, both units include the same job listings and questions. Level One is geared towards lower level students and Level Two is geared towards higher level students. The job listings are realistic, age-appropriate, and contain real-world vocabulary students will encounter when applying for job themselves. This is an excellent activity to promote independent living skills, work on IEP transition skills, and a great way to gather data for real world comprehension skills as well!
