It's the end of the year and all.the.things are happening! It can be such a crazy time of year, but one thing that doesn't have to be crazy is awards! Or at the least, it can be crazy fun with this set!
The Kids' Choice awards are meant to be more like your funny, end of the year party kind of awards, but you could easily modify them or use them as your official end of the year awards as well.
Students vote for the classmate they think best exemplifies each of the awards. They vote for each classmate so everyone gets to join in on the fun! You can use the included Google Form for students to vote digitally (instructions are included for how to modify the form to include your students' names) or you can print out the ballot sheet and have the votes take place like an official polling place!
You tally the votes and use the included PDF to enter the names into the certificates automatically! Print out the certificates to hand out to each classmate. OR for a fun spin, you can print out the included awards announcements (either the color version or the printer friendly version) put them in envelopes for the student to open and announce the winner of that award just like they do on the TV..."and the award goes to..." Or print and fold the announcements in half to "open" for the official winner announcement!
In my classroom, we vote for the awards and I get them prepped the week before our end of year awards ceremony. Then we come back to our homerooms after the official awards ceremony and present our Kids' Choice Awards as an additional, more casual, yet just as fun, ceremony before our end of year party!
This set has everything you need to make it happen easily and with minimal prep! It is also somewhat modifiable. Meaning that you can easily take off or add on (you may have to create some additional images if you add on) to the awards being voted on. You can utilize tools such as Canva.com or Google Slides to create additional awards certificates as well (I will have some videos linked to show you how to do that).
The 21 awards (and blurbs to explain each award) that are included are:

Mathmagician
Super Social Studies Scholar (this is a Texas themed award, but could be replaced for your state or the country you wish it to be used for)
Bookworm
Peace Maker
Talented Techy
