These Start of School MATH (Grades 4 & Up) cooperative brainstorming activities are entitled WELCOME. There are 2 levels: Elementary-Grade 8 and Challenging (For GATE or upper grades). It is suggested that students work in pairs or teams. FYI: These puzzles are 25-40 minute activities that uses a Focus Word to encourage students to discover answers to the relevant category questions by using prior knowledge, subject content, or collaboration. It is the perfect and simple cooperative activity that encourages thinking, cooperation, making connections, and is just plain fun!
