Description
Readily available data collection sheets are a critical element to successful Special Education intervention and support! This tool is designed to track student behaviors at specific intervals (e.g., 10 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.) throughout a given period. An effective observation will include an operational definition that is measurable, specific, and has examples and non-examples of the target behavior. The coding system (+ and /) denotes whether the behavior occurred or not during each interval. Special education teachers can use this method to gather data efficiently, allowing them to identify patterns, track progress, and make informed decisions regarding interventions and support strategies for their students.
