Description
This comprehensive text analysis writing unit is designed for students in grades 6-9 with varying reading and writing abilities. The unit includes 3 lessons, differentiated worksheets, guided notes, teacher models, and a rubric. The lessons are presented through Google Slides presentations and are designed to take approximately a week to complete. Students will spend at least two days finding evidence and potentially two days writing their thesis statement.

Differentiated worksheets are provided to accommodate students at various writing levels. Guided notes and teacher models are also included to support student learning. The rubric is provided to ensure students understand the expectations for the paragraph.
