Description
Print out 8 pages on white card stock and laminate. I put a cutting line between each card so that you can round the edges and have a neat same-sized card stack. Cutting takes a bit of time, so pace yourself. Total of 10 shapes and 6 colors. There are 60 exact pairs. In my version of this game, students are given 2 pts for exact matches and 1 pt for matches of color or shape. Students will keep their point stack separate. At the end of the game, they can spread out their 1 pt matches and see if there are more exact matches within this group. They get an extra point for every exact match they find. Great figure ground activity at this point. Use as many cards as you like for making the game easier. It goes pretty fast with all of the cards though, because you are able to make so many non-exact matches.
