Description

This highly engaging unit doesn't just teach students about history, but how to DO history. The lesson introduces the historical thinking skills of sourcing and primary source analysis through the vehicle of the beautiful art of the Renaissance.

The Italian Renaissance is one of the most famous periods in European history. Beginning in the 14th century, it brought about tremendous changes in art, literature, science, and culture. The Italians were the first to embrace the changes known as the Renaissance, or "rebirth," of culture and thought in Europe.
In this lesson, you will get:

Two digital notebooks in Google Slide format that can be easily integrated with Google Classroom and other Learning Management systems and used for online and remote learning.
Two digital notebook answer keys for all of the material.
In-class versions of the digital notebooks, with various activities, including:
Curated videos on the Renaissance with movie guides and answer keys.
