Economics Foundations Guide

This unit is meant to introduce students to basic foundational concepts of Economics.
It acts as the groundwork to understand what Economics is and how economics can be seen in society. The unit begins with discussing scarcity, opportunity cost, and decision-making.
This leads to a look at how economic systems are set up and the decisions they require. Students learn about the basic economic questions and the three primary systems that are created.
This includes lessons on historical economic thinkers (Marx and Smith) and an introduction to Free Enterprise and its values (US economic values).
