Description
This flip book allows the students to understand where they live. It starts with a picture of themselves, then their room, their home, their street, their neighborhood, their town/city, their state, their country, their continent, their planet, their solar system, their galaxy, and their universe. Each circle gets a little bigger as their perspective of their location broadens. This flip book is designed to accompany the book Where Do I Live? by Neil Chesanow but can be used with other map units as well. Simply have the students illustrate each page, then cut each circle out, and staple together to make a book.
