Description
Welcome to FUNctional OT cooking! My students look forward to our weekly cooking sessions which focus on the fine motor, sensory, and functional processes of cooking. With the picture recipe, students also work on number identification (numbers 1-4), left to right tracking/pre-reading skills, and emergent reading and sight words. At the end of group, students are given the opportunity to identify whether they enjoyed the cooking treat and write or stamp their name on the recipe to bring home.
This bundle includes picture schedule recipe for 3 Winter Fun cooking activities (Sleds, Popcorn Snowballs, and Hot Chocolate) using Boardmaker picture symbols. Additionally, there is a BONUS recipe picture schedule for Frosting included with this bundle! Also included: overall cooking group directions, a general cooking supply list, and group supply lists/directions specific to each recipe board.
