Description
Are you seeking syllable activities to practice syllable division rules? This syllable division resource has a winter theme. Your students will have fun practicing different syllable division rules with this Google Slides presentation.
This digital activity must be played in edit mode, not presentation mode. Students will not be able to move the pieces in presentation mode.
**Teacher make a duplicate copy before playing so you have a master copy!
Students identify the vowels in the word, then drag a "V" over the vowels. They will then drag a "C" over the consonants between the vowels. Identify the syllable pattern then drag the divider. Decode each syllable, then read the word. Lastly, drag the number of syllables into the box.
Zoom/Google Meet: Open the google slides game and share your screen! You can let the students move the pieces themself, or drag the picture for them.
To convert this Google Slides™ Presentation into a PowerPoint file:
Open up your Google Slides™ file.
Click "File" and "Download."
Select Microsoft PowerPoint.
The file should automatically download to your computer as a PPT file!
