About
I started my teaching in rural northern Maine in 1992 in an alternative high school in MSAD #1. When the alternative school closed I moved to Presque Isle High School where I taught biology, space science, integrated biochemistry and art.
In 2000 I moved to western North Carolina and taught in Iredell-Statesvill schools teaching grade six science and social studies.
In 2002 I moved to Granite Falls Middle School where I have taught grades 6, 7, and 8 Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies. For 13 years I served at Yearbook Adviser at GFMS. In 2004 I became the GFMS webmaster. I have served as SIOP trainer, PowerSchool trainer, and mentor teacher. I am currently in my 27th year in the classroom teaching grade six ELA and Social Studies and am an AIG Specialist.
