Description
was a third grade teacher when I created these Chapter Review sheets for my students. I loved the book and wanted my students to love it as much I did and it worked for me. I incorporated multiple CCSS standards including drawing conclusions/opinions and citing evidence in text to support their conclusions/opinions about plots and characters. I have also included open-ended questions, context clues, illustrations, and critical response questions. After listening to E.B. White read each chapter (on YouTube), I conducted a whole class activity in answering the first question and then I would have them either pair-share or group-share completing the worksheet. I would assign the unfinished worksheet as homework. My objective was to have students gain experience in thinking and writing with my support. Because the answers are interpretive, I do not provide an answer key. No need to download fonts as I scanned worksheets and created the file.
