Is your class going bananas as summer gets closer? End your school year on a happy note with this kindness challenge craft. Make one countdown to summer chain for a whole group activity, or have students make their own. Each day you countdown to the summer break, your class will tear off a link from the chain and do a different act of kindness! Choose between activities for school, home, or make your own with editable strips. Mix them up to make the kindness challenge a perfect fit for your class.
How does this End of School Year Countdown with Kindness Craft work?
Print out the kindness chain strips, cut them, and form a chain. Glue the chain to one of the many summer countdown toppers. Each day, tear off a link of the chain and have your students do the kindness challenge activity at some point during the day.
What if I don't want to do all of these kindness chain activities?
No problem! There are 20 kindness challenge options, so you may pick and choose which options are best for your class. I have also included editable strips, so you can add kindness activities that are special to your classroom.
*You must have Powerpoint to be able to edit. A PDF is also included, but it is not editable.
What if I want to countdown during the weekends too?
I have added 12 kindness challenge strips that have activities to do at home. You can also add your own ideas to the editable strips.

20 kindness activity chain links in different options
links with no numbers, so the teacher may pick and choose which options are best for the class

12 kindness challenge activity chain links to do at home - these are perfect if you would like to include the weekends or if you homeschool
