If you have thought of teaching your child at home, there's never been a time than right now! I mean, who knows their child better than you, right? But many parents are hesitant to start homeschool because they think they cannot give their child the level of education and skills they need. Well, I am here to tell you you can!
I am a seasoned educator who quit teaching in the public schools before retirement to start my own businesses as a writer, online educator, and technology and media business owner! I even have an internet radio station that reaches the whole world. My background before teaching was in Mass Communications (Radio-TV and Drama/Music), and I have always enjoyed using my artistic background to inspire kids to want to learn!
My courses follow the theory that "smaller chunks" of learning work best for retention and application, so you'll find my lessons engaging and refreshingly short for those short attention spans. I taught Special Education for most of my 18-year teaching career, and I know the challenges of teachers and parents in keeping kids' interest.
Also, as a published writer for over 10 years, I know how to help guide your child to master the most critical writing and thinking skills to learn how to improve test scores, learn functional writing for life, and most importantly, improve their communication skills in our high-tech society.
I use media, drama, music, and gamification to engage and inspire young minds, just like I did all those years in the classroom. I am not just a teacher. I'm also a nationally published writer, musician, songwriter, poet, and business owner/tech expert. So, these skills help me build fun lessons that keep kids' attention while teaching them the most important skills they'll need in school and in life!

What is this course about?
This course is intended to educate parents about the most important things they need to know to create a homeschool environment for their kids.

Why only 15 pages?
I know from experience that people get tired of boring long presentations. Just like we do when we create lessons for kids, we cut to the chase and include only the most important but interesting information that parents can use.

Is the cost fair?
We think so! The creator of these courses has over 2 decades of experience in education as a special educator and counselor. So you are getting her years of expertise as well as some great ideas!

Do you have other courses?
Of course! While we are somewhat new to Classful, we are not new to education or technology. In fact, it's what we do and we'll be uploading and linking out many more great resources in the near future!

Where are the student modules and courses?
The mini lessons and modules can be found here on Classful with the others (as we upload them) or provide the links or on our main website. Please be patient as we grow.
