This DIGITAL 8-day Narrative Writing Packet is a great way to start off a Narrative Writing Unit. This packet is divided into four parts and requires student reading and writing. Days 1-2 include sample narratives and asks comprehension, setting, conflict, characterization, and theme questions regarding the specific two narrative examples provided. Days 3-4 focus on the setting in narratives with picture prompts. Days 5-6 delves into characterization with picture prompts, and the final two days ask students to compose separate 2-paragraph short narratives that include dialogue (Dialogue hint sheet linked within assignment) and focus on setting and characterization. *Please note that additional narrative writing supports are also available in this store, including a Final Narrative Essay template and Graphic Organizer with four narrative assignment prompts and sample essays.
