Description
Grade 8 STEM This is a fun activity that will introduce students to contour mapping and the topography of the ocean floor. It is a performance task I have used for many years in middle school. The more time students have to practice actual mapping skills the longer they will retain the information.
Objective Describe some characteristics of the ocean floor and compare the floors of the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean.
