This is an excellent worksheet to address appropriate prosocial behaviors and healthy methods of coping. This could be a part to a social skills lesson. Social- emotional learning through examples is a wonderful way to improve classroom awareness. The social skills worksheet can be used as part of a guidance lesson, special education lesson, or for elementary students. Students are presented with 10 social skills situations and have to determine out of two options which is a healthy coping method. This can be completed individually or as a class.

Jane could think about 5 things she likes about her sister. OR Jane could take her sister's favorite toy to be even.
Billy's dog dies. Circle the healthy way to cope.Billy could make a book to remember his dog. OR Billy could eat an entire chocolate cake.
Dan is nervous about giving a presentation. Circle the healthy way to cope.Dan could go to his happy place in his mind when he is feeling nervous. OR Dan could bite his nails to help with his nerves.
