Description
These 'any time" substitute plans for middle school social studies will be a huge time saver. The 4 printable activities are engaging, meaningful, and can be used with any lesson or unit. The general information pages are editable so you can adjust for what makes sense for you and your students. Your substitute will have everything they need for a successful day.

Here is what I recommend for a smooth day:
⭐Fill in the general substitute information slides. They are completely editable. ⭐You can make extra slide copies for class lists, depending on how many classes you have.
⭐Note for seating charts: I have found it much easier to just number my desks at the beginning of the year (I put a small sticker on the leg of the desk with the number). This way, I can easily change students and desk configurations without it being a big deal.
⭐Print or post activity slides. These are generic social studies lessons. You can pick and choose or use them all. You can always add more of your own activities and include in your 'General Plans" page (examples: read a chapter, complete an activity that you had planned, etc.).
⭐Activities are fun, engaging, clearly laid out, and purposeful.
