Description
This is a one or two day lesson depending on if you choose to use the simulator. It has been designed to cell theory and homeostasis in cells. Lesson contains two page of diagrams and notes, a simulators with graph, open ended questions and a variety of multiple choice questions. A PowerPoint presentation is also included to accompany the lesson. Also includes digital options, including a google form review to replace the paper worksheet, quizlet deck, and gimkit set.
Multiple Choice Questions loaded into Quizizz.com which makes analyzing data fast and painless. I have my students answer them on paper then enter their answers into quizizz. There I can quickly review their data and address the questions that were commonly missed.
Specifically written to review the following Florida Standards:
SC.6.L.14.2 - Investigate and explain the components of the scientific theory of cells (cell theory): all organisms are composed of cells (single-celled or multi-cellular), all cells come from preexisting cells, and cells are the basic unit of life.
SC.6.L.14.3 Recognize and explore how cells of all organisms undergo similar processes to maintain homeostasis, including extracting energy from food, getting rid of waste, and reproducing.
