I am a bilingual first grade teacher. I teach at a school with very fragile learners. Our students come from very low economically disadvantage homes. I do not let their situations determine who they really are. My students are full of grit, determination and eagerness to learn every single day.
Our classroom needs basic materials for everyday use. We need manilla pare, glue sticks, scissors, markers. At the beginning of the year very few parents send school supplies. I understand that many of them do not send them due to the economic burden they face. I buy supplies for my kids that don't have any but now as we start our second semester those supplies are depleted. Any help provided to get supplies is greatly appreciated.
My kids enjoy working together on the different projects we have in class and all of our projects require all the basis supplies mentioned above. I am a bilingual first grade teacher.
