I am a first grade ELD teacher. I taught preschool for 6 years before moving to first grade. I am currently teaching at the elementary school I attended as a child. My school is a title 1 school which means we receive extra funding. A lot of our students are at a financial disadvantage. Every year I do all I can to purchase the supplies my students need to be successful. This includes crayons, pencils, paper, markers, folders, pencil boxes, and back packs.
