Description
Students will build addition fact fluency with this fun memory matching game. This is an excellent intervention activity as it allows the teacher to select targeted facts to practice. There are matching worksheets so the students are working out the math problems BEFORE playing the game and reinforcing the skill as they play. This game also helps students focus and build memory strength. It is important to match students of similar skill levels to make the game competitive. Students can also play this individually and see how long it takes them to match them all.
This game can be played in math centers, utilized for intervention time, or as a Fun Friday and early finisher activity. This game is for ideally for 1-3 players. You know what works best for you class and there are lots of ways to modify and implement this game to support your student's needs.
