Description
Establishing a safe space in your classroom is an excellent way to start the school year. Having classroom management protocols in place at the beginning of the year is essential as any veteran teacher knows.
This 'starter pack' is a great tool to get you thinking about how to create a safe space in your classroom. It includes advice for how to implement an effective safe space into your classroom management plan.
It also includes a Presentation to introduce the concept to your students. The presentation covers the reason for a safe space, rules and procedures for using it, and examples/non-examples of when to use it.
