Description
Your students will virtually stroll through a gallery of hooks from four different middle grade novels. They create a claim as to which one is the best and explain why. The class then votes on their favorite hook using google forms.
This activity gets them explaining the REASONS why hooks, well... hook us!
Included in this product:
12 Interactive Google Slides (Use "present" mode so they can only see one screen at a time. Certain objects on the screen are clickable and will move them throughout the gallery)
2 response sheets (printable PDF and digital slides version)
A google form for the class to vote on their final winner
At the end of the activity, display the class winner and discuss what made it so strong. Makes for a wonderful class discussion!
