The social skills story details easy to understand steps for crossing the street safely and is most appropriate for children who would still need an adult to cross the street safely. The sequence activity, worksheets, and mini-book help reinforce the concepts that are introduced in the social skills story and the interactive book can be used to assess knowledge at the end of the learning unit. The worksheets can also be used to introduce or practice pre-academic skills including copying lines, cutting on a line, tracing letters, and other concepts that are important pre-academic skills.
